Google launches Twitter workaround for Egypt
Google Inc said yesterday it has launched a new service for people in Egypt to send Twitter messages without requiring an Internet connection, amid widespread anti-government protests in the country.
Google said the new service allows people to dial a telephone number and leave a voicemail, which is automatically translated into a message on Twitter.
